Professional Training

Our next professional training will begin in May 2027 in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts.

The Grinberg Method professional training is a 3-year course. The first year is divided into 3 weeks of intensive training (dates below), while the second and third are divided into 4, for a total of 11 weeks. The training weeks occur at an interval of two to three months.

Level I allows practitioners to acquire the basic tools of touch working on the whole body, starting
from footwork techniques. Trainees will also be able to conduct a personal assessment to describe the client’s pattern and build a basic strategy combining touch, breathing exercises and verbal
guidance to enhance the body's innate ability to recover and balance itself.

During the course we learn a unique approach to teaching and learning through the body. The path includes a variety of techniques, different types of touch and analysis, the acquisition of tools to create a strategy and develop a customized process for each client. The program includes theory, demonstrations, exercises, physical training and acquisition of the practice. 

Admission to the second and third year is based on meeting the requirements of the previous year of study.

Through the course of study the student learns to develop an ability to accompany clients throughout a process. They learn to work with pain and can teach the client to use the flow of fear. They learn to relate their work with their client to their client's past experience and knows how to create a holistic strategy to teach the client to stop chronic and repetitive reactions. Finally, you learn to develop a personal discipline and to follow ethics that allow them to relate to the client by clearly defining the objective of their work together and creating a clear relationship between the two parties.
